Formal night on 4 night cruises?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Is there a formal night on the 4 night Bahamas cruises?

Thanks for your help!

Andrea

Yes as other's have indicated, but in my experience it is on average, less formal than 7 day cruises. If we do formal night I just wear a white shirt and tie, no jacket or coat. By chance are you doing Majesty? Between the time I did a 4 day in 2010 and doing the same cruise in 2013 they changed the route a bit and I thought they made a mistake on when the formal night was. On the new Majesty 4 day the ship stays in Nassau till midnight, but formal night is that night. I guess they don't want you off the ship spending your money on shore when you can be doing so on the ship? To me the next night when everyone is back on the ship by 3pm from Coco Cay would seem, by my logic to be the better choice for a formal night.

The first, or only, formal night is always night 2! We have dressed up, had dinner, then gone ashore (to Atlantis) in all our "finery"....fun!

Not always. On Majesty of the Seas in Feb. of this year, formal night was Coco Cay night - which was night three.

Our itinerary was Miami, Nassau, Coco Cay, Key West, Miami.

Dan.

I had the same post about 4 weeks ago... I too had many responses claiming different nights. On the Nov. 18 sailing on Majesty it was on night 2. I guess I will see what Enchantment is next week! And as a side note, I'm not sure why "Formal" has different definitions according to cruise duration. We always dress up for formal night as it is called Formal.... Enjoy!!!
