Afternoon Teas in the Dining room

Can someone tell me about the afternoon teas? What type of teas do they serve? What type of snacks do they serve? How long does the tea service last?

Tea service is usually between 3:30 and 4:30. They have brewed tea, decaf tea, coffee, and I always order hot water and lemon. I like their scones with cream and jam. They have finger sandwiches and desserts too.

 

Sometimes they have a keyboardist, guitarist, or string quartet.

Someone else orders hot water and lemon? Wow. Of course, I like my teas as well. Do they serve the standard teas found in the lido or is it something better?

They serve out of a large china pot and it is a standard tea like a Lipton.

I've never tried this before, but are you able to order different types of tea at afternoon tea like green tea?

I always order Earl Grey and they bring me a little pot of it. I"m sure you can also order green tea.
