KirkNC Posted December 17, 2013 #26 Share Posted December 17, 2013 Thank you everyone. I just booked our last night at Tamarind and will take S7S's and JTL's advice for going to silk den before dinner after the thermal suite which happen to come after a relaxed afternoon/early evening @ the retreat cabana :) We love the Silk Den almost as much as the Tamarind. Great views!
Rare cbr663 Posted December 17, 2013 #27 Share Posted December 17, 2013 I hear about this restaurant a lot, but only hear about the sushi. I'm not a fan of sushi, what else do they serve? I had a wasabi crusted tenderloin that was divine. I don't like sushi either and had no problem finding things that I liked.

Thebes Posted December 17, 2013 Author #29 Share Posted December 17, 2013 Thebes On another thread that you started on this similar subject I posted quite a few pictures for you to see of the Tamarind. Hope you saw them. Thanks KK :) I sure did but I wasn't sure how other restaurants look. One thing I like to ask tho , does the Canaletto have windows and where is it located in the ship ? Sorry can't get to a deck plan at the moment.
jtl513 Posted December 17, 2013 #30 Share Posted December 17, 2013 (edited) Thanks KK :) One thing I like to ask tho , does the Canaletto have windows and where is it located in the ship ? Sorry can't get to a deck plan at the moment. It's just a section of the Lido, and has the same windows. Port side, just aft of the glass elevators.http://www.hollandamerica.com/main/DeckPlansFull.action?ship=ed&deck=l&WT.ac=pnav_Onboard_EurodamDeck ... detroit70 Posted December 18, 2013 #33 Share Posted December 18, 2013 I recommend you start your eveing with a cocktail/beverage in Silk Den before going very nearby to Tamarind. That lounge is woefully under used and we could not understand why more people didn't stop there. It's terrific IMO Sail ~ We'll be on the Eurodam in late May. Is there window seating available in the Silk Den and Tamarind? Thanks!
