Cruise ship terminal out of NYC

We got off Marina this year in NYC, there were taxi lines right at the exit from the pier- no porters. When we exited off Regatta, we had to cross the street to get taxis. It was well organized both times.

When we got on Marina this May there were plenty of porters, so I guess you never know.

There usually are plenty of porters, last week we came back to NY, got a porter who took us across the street to the taxi stand, lots of taxies and car service. I tip 2$ bag.

Yes I had heard they upgraded the NYC port, sounds like they got it better under control than many years ago when I first cruised there.

 

I sail in 7 days on Celebrity's Silhouette (Eastern Carib), really need my cruise fix.
