I am not very good at writing but wanted to give some opinions. My DH 43

DS 16, DS 23 and myself 43 returned from the 12/14-12/21 sailing. The first

thing I did notice is the listing and movement. I had been told about it. It didn't scare me but it was hard to walk in heels. It wasn't horrible but if you are someone who gets seasick just bring meds.

FOOD

The food was very good. If you had to spend time finding a table

then it could get cold. Go to the back of the ship and you will see steps. Plenty of seating up or down in this area.

Teppenaki

BEST FOOD WE HAVE EVER EATEN!! WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

( I know that is not spelled correctly)

STATEROOM

WE had a mini suite 10096 and loved it. It had a tub. The tub is very high. It would not be great for anyone with stability problems. The bathroom would have bothered me if we had not had the mini suite. I am a cruiser who likes to spend some time in my room. When we get back from excursions

I take naps, On sea days I take naps. After meals I take

Well you get the picture!!!

Elevators situation was horrible. First of all it took forever to get an elevator but then the way people packed in was insane.

I just don't want to be that close to strangers. We constantly got off and took the stairs. A few times I saw young people

not letting a older person on first and I think that is just rude!!!

POOL

It was normally crowded like normal be we always found seats

but it just might take a few minutes.

Shows

We went to the mystery luncheon and it was very cute.

Legends was awesome!!

White Hot Party was awesome.

I have some more information about the casino

I will write a little more in a couple of hours.

Sorry if my writing is horrible.

If you have any questions please ask. I'm on my way to the store but will check back.

Happy to read your review.

Thanks for sharing.

How's your experience in the MDR (Manhattan and Taste) ?

Do you like it? Do you have to wait, or can be seated immediately?

Keep cruising.

Jumping in because OP said they don't like writing and I was on their sailing. We ate at Taste most nights and showed up anytime between 5-7. It was never full and we never had to wait.

Okay I am back. I wanted to respond to one of the questions. We did eat in Taste and we ate early around 6:00. No wait for a table. They are a little slow serving but not horrible.

We ate twice in the Pub style dining. We bowled that was $ 5.00 per person.

This was a half an hour wait. No biggie!! We all loved the food. We are

not foodies and will pretty much try anything.

CASINO

Now this is what ticked me off the most about the cruise. It wasn't horrible

and maybe everyone else already knows this. I did not.

I had put about $ 500.00 in obc myself ahead of time. I found out they charge you 3% to use your own money at the slots.

I did not remember Carnival or RC charging this. I might be wrong.

Regardless that sucks and I did not spend very much time in the Casino.

The staff was all very nice except for 2 females at Customer Service.

I just chalked up to it being the first day and they got very busy.

We are trying the Sun next. I firmly believe that you can make the best

of the worst out of any vacation.

Just don't sweat the small stuff!!

Just to clarify on this.......if you pull money off your cruise card, they will charge the 3%. If you go in with actual cash and play with that, there is no charge. That's a bummer you didn't know this, however, it is the case on most cruise lines including Carnival and RCCL. Unfortunately the fact that it is an obc is never taken into consideration. It is looked at as a cash advance off of whatever credit card you may have tied to your on board acct (even if you are using a debit card to cover these charges).
