Anybody hear anything about Asian voyages?

Am I the only one wondering why nothing has been posted about any of the Asian voyages? Anybody picking up any news on that score?

I also have been curious. We have friends now en-route to Singapore for a January 4th departure. I am sure we will hear something from them sooner or later. SDII seems to have the two cans and a string internet as well.:eek:

Some friends who have a lot of nights are on board right now. Based on their Facebook posts they seem to be having a great time. Knowing them if something were really wrong they would have posted something.

We have friends who were on the Dec 8, 13 day cruise from Phucket to Singapore. They had a great trip. Everything was lovely except for atrocious Internet. SDII had just come out of dry dock and was in great shape.

On a brighter note than the SDI troubles, we heard from our friends on SDII in Asia. Other than the non existent internet, they report a fabulous trip. All appears well on SDII.:D

Yes, Jim, Asia's still there.......from what I can see thro' the rain.

 

I am emailing this very ssssslllllloooooowwwwwlllllyyyyy because of the internet speed (or lack of it: should have got cable !).

 

Most of the ports are twinned with Chitole......but the beaches and islands are wonderful. Better than Caribbean ! But I still love the Caribbean ( from the boat).

 

The crew are marvellous. Some are transferring to SDI and are limbering up for rowing practice !

 

But seriously, its great. Bogdan keeping this beautiful lady going (I dont think he's in charge of internet tho' otherwise I would be downloading Downton Abbey: gritty life drama of people a lot less fortunate than me don't ye know ! Guffaw, guffaw.
