Nearby Wine Shop in Fort Lauderdale

I know this question has been asked before but I can't find the answer so please forgive me for asking again! We are staying at the Hyatt Place Convention Center on 17th Street pre-cruise and would like to purchase wine to carry on the cruise. What wine shop is within walking distance of the hotel? Thank you again.

You are only a 5 or 6 min walk from Total Wine in the Harbor Shops. ;)

I also used Total Wine. It was fairly close to the hotels in the 17th st. SE area. Good selection of wines to choose from. Each of two couples brought on 2 bottles per cabin using carry-on luggage. No problem either with the store or getting onboard.

There is a grocery store as well as restuarants in the shopping area too. You'll bump into LOTS of prenight cruisers/drinkers in the area.:p

Another post for Total Wines. Being from prohibitiOntario, I get almost as excited for the trip to Total Wines as I do the cruise itself :)

Since you are sailing on a Sunday remember to get there Saturday night--no alcohol sales before noon on Sunday. (You have to wonder if lawmakers are aware that Ft. Lauderdale is an acutal tourist destination :rolleyes:)
