PalmTree55 Posted January 1, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 1, 2014 IMHO, I would go for the Eight Night on the Independence. It all depends on how long you want to cruise, and what ship class you prefer better. Do you have the itineraries for each? PalmTree55 Posted January 1, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Both Itineraries look great! I guess it comes down to wether you would rather have a more port intensive cruise or not. Whichever cruise you pick, hope you have a great one! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Cruising89143 Posted January 1, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 1, 2014 I like both itineraries but I like the seas days on the Indy. Plus it's an eight night cruise.

PalmTree55 Posted January 1, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 1, 2014 (edited) How are the prices? If the Independence cruise is not much more than the Jewel, than I would definitely go Indy, since it's longer (and on a newer ship). mailmama Posted January 1, 2014 #9 Share Posted January 1, 2014 One extra day, newer and larger ship, no brainer....I'd go Independence. Imho, I like the Indy layout and offerings better than Jewel. Really can't go wrong either way.....it's a vacation:)
PalmTree55 Posted January 1, 2014 #10 Share Posted January 1, 2014 IMHO, I think the Independence is the best choice. Longer cruise, larger ship, and more sea days make this my favorite (plus the stop in Labadee, the best out of the RCCL Private Islands). Happy Cruising! Rare nbsjcruiser Posted January 1, 2014 #11 Share Posted January 1, 2014 We've been on the Radiance and the Independence 8 day. While I'm a big fan of the Radiance class ships, we had a ball on the 8 day last year. Without getting into too many details, here is my review with pics of the Indy: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1810273 Loved Shipwreck beach in St Kitts, always enjoy San Juan and St Maarten is one of my favourite stops.
