Boarding Separately

Is there any problem with passengers in one cabin boarding at different times ? We are taking the May crossing out of NY. Our daughter lives in New Jersey and we are coming up from NC. We will not be arriving at the pier at the same time but don't know if one or the other of us needs to wait for the whole party to board.

We have done this on 2 occasions with Oceania and never had a problem but make sure you let them know ahead via TA or Oceania direct.

Plus on 2 occasions DH actually embarked at the 1st port due to other commitments and we have never had a problem. He just had to carry/manage his own luggage and Oceania security came to the gate when he arrived and processed his passport etc and gave him his Oceania Card.

As long as your entire group is boarding in New York, there isn't any need for you to coordinate getting onto the ship together.

Each passenger, however should have their own Passport and will be required to register a credit card to cover incidentals.

Your family may wish to establish an onboard meeting place in advance. The World is a small place, but the ship can be a big one....although, come to think of it, cell phones will be functioning.

We're on the same sailing, hope to see you on the ship!
