Does anyone have a wine list from the Pinnacle Grille? Any recommendations? We usually bring a red wine with us to enjoy, but will be ordering from the menu this time.

To the best of my knowledge, Pinnacle does not have its own unique wine list...except on Le Cirque night when there are a few additional wines on the menu.

Thanks for scanning this. My only question: Is it too much trouble for HAL to include the vintages on the list? :confused: How is one to make an informed selection without one.

HAL's wine selection is pretty pitiful. We are sailing on X next month and I have been looking at their wine list, it blows HAL's away.

On my last cruise, the Cellar Master hosted a "South America Wine Tasting" event at which he poured a very nice Carmenere from Chile (actually I think all Carmeneres are Chilean). I asked for it that night at dinner and was surprised to see it priced at only $29 -- for HAL, practically bargain basement. I don't know the vintage that we sampled but the bottle that was brought to the table was 2013, so young it could have stripped paint. :eek: Next time, I'll ask!

except for those in the Canaletto. I order them in other venues as they are under $30. I hope they reprice their wines after the new rules are enforced. Princess is much fairer.

The last time we were in Pinnacle they had their own wine list. Much better selection but pricey. A lot of Washington wines which we like coming from Seattle. You can order from this list throughout the ship. Or buy a bottle from the Pinnacle Bar and take to MDR. Just keep your payment proof as you don ' want an issue re: corkage fee.. This was 9 months ago.
