EAGLESLOVER Posted January 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2014 Lucky us. We are booked in a full suite this March on the Ruby and used our amex platinum to book. we are entitled to complimentary dinner in the specialty restaurant the night of embarkation for booking the suite and also one for using the amex. has anyone had any difficulty getting one switched to another night? who would I speak to about this? should i deal with this before we board?? thanks in advance Sharon
-Lew- Posted January 7, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2014 We were in a full suite on the Royal TA. Since we overnighted in Venice, we didn't want to take advantage of our free meal that night. I asked the concierge if she could change it for me and it was not a problem...any evening I would like was her response. I don't know whether the Ruby has a concierge, but I would imagine calling the DINE number or stopping by the restaurant would do it for you. This happens quite often and they are aware you can't use both free meals the first night. Lew

Steviewonder1 Posted January 7, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2014 On our last cruise we used it on the first night. On a previous cruise we changed the night. Not an issue to do. Both The Crown and Sabatini's are nice and quiet for dinner and that is what we love, even more so at Sabatini's for Breakfast.
Sitmar Lady Posted January 7, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 7, 2014 I have found the first nights menu on the cruises is my least favorite. If and when I dine in the specialty restaurants, it's always the first night.
