Am I permitted to take/use my own clam shell at Coco Cay and Labadee

Recommended Posts

I cannot do the sun and am wondering if I buy a clam shell, would I be able to set it up on Coco Cay and Labadee? It seems as though it would pay for itself after just a couple of cruises.

I would also think about taking chairs in a bag with it to St Martin. Take the water taxi across and set up camp. I am not able to do much beach wise, but I CAN sit in the shade and watch my family! :)

Any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Sure...if you want to lug it, you can. There will be shade on both Coco Cay and Labadee, and loungers are there for your use!

It may be handy for other beach ports where you must pay for chairs/umbrellas!

We are scheduled to go to St Martin a couple of times and want it for there also. You can get some very light weight easily folding ones nowadays!

I don't want to spend $50 for one at CocoCay, I don't mind a $20 tip for one at Labadee! (should I be tipping more than that?)

We use a product that we found at Wall Mart called

TENT-A HUT.

We use it locally when we go to the lake for some shade and keep the coolers cool:D,

It folds up to the size of 2 feet, by a 5 inch round cannister.

The only problem is it would definetly take up luggage space.
