Wine-O Posted January 11, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 11, 2014 How about deck 8 3234 Thanks Deck 8 3234? Do you mean Deck 8, 8234? 8234 has bed by the bath. If that's not the stateroom you are in, just count up or down, every other one -- bath/balcony/bath/balcony/bath/balcony, as they all alternate. Rare Essiesmom Posted January 11, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 11, 2014 Easy way to tell...If your cabin is a quad, the bed will be by the bath. If not a quad (they alternate) bed will be by the balcony. EM

Wine-O Posted January 11, 2014 #9 Share Posted January 11, 2014 Does anyone know which way do the beds face? It all depends upon whether the bed is by the balcony or by the bath, then whether you are on the port or starboard side of the ship. If you are on the starboard side, and the bed is by the bath, as you lie in bed, your feet will be pointed forward -- if you sit up in bed, you will be looking forward. It's just the opposite if you have the bed by the balcony. If you are on the port side, and the bed is by the bath, your feet will be pointed aft -- if you sit up in bed, you will be looking aft. It's just the opposite if you have the bed by the balcony. Hope that makes sense.

I still want to know the formula like the Oasis/Allure where looking at any connecting staterooms, the door on the R has the bed by balcony an the door on left has the bed by the bath. Does the formula hold true for the S-class ships.
Bluebury Posted January 11, 2014 #13 Share Posted January 11, 2014 Is there a way to work it out on the Infinity please?
jgnova Posted January 12, 2014 #14 Share Posted January 12, 2014 Infinity (and its sisters) don't have the staggered cabin design of the S-class ships. On the older ships, the easiest way to tell is to find a pair of connecting cabins. The door will be on the wall without the bed. Then you can count from there (with some exceptions around bulkheads and suites). j

EM But, if trying to address the same issue in AquaClass [not the case for this post], know that one needs to refer to the "sticky" Solstice-Class spreadsheet and count by alternating staterooms if the one you are interested in isn't listed... All of the AquaClass staterooms are designed for occupancy by two; there are no quads!
Rare Cruise Raider Posted January 12, 2014 #16 Share Posted January 12, 2014 Is there a way to work it out on the Infinity please? On the Infinity, I think the bed is always by the bath in the balcony cabins. I think all balconies have the couch by the balcony door. ??

All of the AquaClass staterooms are designed for occupancy by two; there are no quads! All the decks are mirror images. Just go down a deck or two and find a corresponding stateroom below, then count as they alternate balcony/bath/balcony/bath, etc.
