What is the best floor and or stateroom on the oasis. Currently on deck 6 in 6664

We have stayed in 6660 and loved the location. Right around the corner from Boardwalk, up one to Park Avenue, down one level to the Royal Promenade. I did notice the cabin seemed to be a wee bit warmer. I attributed it to the doors constantly opening and shutting to the Boardwalk where it was very hot and humid.

Have also been on decks 7, 8, 9 11 and 12.

I would never book deck 7 near the rear elevators again as you cannot walk from port to starboard. The is no walkway there because of the large Boardwalk sign.

My choice would be 12240.

Good choice, we did like that cabin. My pick is 1740 though, as we like the aft facing cabin with the view of the sports deck. We also liked the amount of room in the cabin.:D

I like Deck 6. We also book cabins in this area, D8 - just aft of the aft elevators. My favorite place to stay on this class of ship.

Easy access to the Boardwalk for morning coffee. There is a staircase behind the Aqua Theater that will take you down to a nice ocean viewing area - complete with chairs and loungers - just off of the walking/jogging track - that is quiet and peaceful.

Deck 6 offers a nice view of the Parades and other activities on the Promenade that you might want to see. You can stand at the railing, of find a seat at the Schooner Bar.

Deck 5, the Royal Promenade is only 1 deck below. Very ease to get to. The Promenade Cafe is there, as well as the pizza place and assorted shops. Lots of entertainment takes place. here, also.

Deck 8 is a quick walk up two flight for Central park, and the Park Cafe.

The aft area of the ship is directly over the main dining rooms. You only need to walk down two flights of stairs. The Casino, as well as the Theater, Comedy Club, and Jazz Club are easy to get to from Deck 6. Just 2 flights down.

The Windjammer, Solarium, and Viking Crown Lounge are us several decks; they are the only locations you may need to use an elevator to get to.
