Never sailed Carnival before, but have just booked Dream for June.:D We not big drinkers but a drink on balcony would be nice. Not a problem on other lines we've been on but wondering about policy of bringing soft drinks and alcohol aboard pls? Also can I bring my travel kettle for cabin coffees pls?;)

YOu can bring soda/soft drinks onboard. Water too. I believe a 6 or 12-pack per passenger. You can also bring a bottle of wine per adult over 21 onboard. That's it. You can order liquor from Bon Voyage services, but IMO that stuff is expensive.

You are allowed to bring soda or water on board. There is a limit of two bottles of wine. No hard liquor. But you can preorder it from the Bon-voyage dept and it will be in your room upon arrival. I have been told you can order it delivered to your cabin from room service. We most often get ours from Bon-voyage. Hope this helps. Enjoy your cruise.

At the beginning of the cruise during embarkation day, guests 21 years of age and older may bring on board one bottle (750ml) of wine or champagne, per person, only in their carry-on luggage. A $10 corkage fee per bottle will be charged should you wish to consume this wine in the main dining room; $14 corkage fee per bottle in the steakhouse.

For non-alcoholic beverages 12 per person, sealed, unopened bottles/cans.

Hi Paul

We are both coffee lovers. I like a light to medium roast and he likes medium to dark. He can drink Starbucks black...I cannot lol. I find the coffee on the Lido passable but I also like lots of milk or cream and no sugar. He hates the coffee on the Lido. The coffee in the dining room at dinner is somehow different. I don't know if it is because of the wonderful dinners but it just tastes better. We always have coffee after dinner. The 'for a price' coffee at the specialty shops is also very good. Try the Caribbean coffee...it has a kick to it but it is delicious. Coffee is my favourite food group.
