Back to Royal Caribbean

We have sailed Royal 4 times, but most recently sailed the NCL Epic and have decided to go back to sailing with Royal :D We may go on Freedom of the Seas. Can anyone compare the NCL Epic to the Freedom so we know what to expect?

We've only sailed on RC but have been considering NCL. Curious what your thoughts are on comparisons - do you prefer RC???

We love Royal Caribbean and definitely prefer it over NCL. We are not fans of the freestyle dining and we felt the service wasn't as great. Everyone was very nice, but the service seems on Royal just seems a step above. Just my opinion. And also if you are looking at Epic the pool and pool area are very crowded and it was very difficult to find a chair. Not nearly as nice as those on Royal

The newest ship at NCL .... We did the 7 night trans Atlantic and it was so bad. Just a few ticks:

 

Food always cold.

Boat drill made me fear for our safety.

Officers completely unapproachable.

Shows more like state fair local competition.

Charges for way too much....cold food even in pay restaurants.

Layout of ship caused everything to be crowded.

And on and on......

RCI is our only choice. All the RCI ships do much better than their "best." :)
