Specialty Restaurants

Thanks for your answers. I was hoping we could book ahead because the cruise we're on (May - Alaska) offered complimentary dinners. So it would seem most couples would want to take advantage of the offer. Guess I'll have to go to the restaurant right after boarding. Just hope the line won't be too long.

We think its better that way.

Then the restaurants won't fill up with some that never make :( and gives a fair chance to everyone that want to dine in one.:)

We usually do the same (going to the specialty restaurants in lieu of dressing up for formal nights in the MDR).

It's very easy to make reservations by calling the 'dine line' from your cabin once one gets on board after embarkation. It takes just a minute or two.

We've never had to wait on hold or anything like that and have always gotten the desired days and times requested for our reservations -- As long as we did so before sail-away.

No need to go to the restaurant. Call the dining line from your cabin.
