We are arriving in Mykonos at 2:00 p.m. and there until 10:00 p.m. Any suggestions as to what we "must see or do"?

Thanks!

Hi Maureen

Sounds like a trip to Delos is unlikely. We had the same hours as you and just mooched around and went to a beach

It wasn't a day I'll remember forever but was all very pleasant. All the best, Tony

Agreed, Mykonos is great to just wander around. Just get dropped off (by shuttle bus most often) in the little township. Walk to the windmills (Little Venice is there as well) and work your way back just discovering all the beautiful little streets full of quaint shops.

Make sure you have worked out how to get back to the ship, as you will not be able to get a taxi on the end of the day.

You can actually see Little Venice from the windmills and vice versa. It's less than a five minute walk. The ship ran a shuttle bus (maybe $10) from the dock to downtown. While the walk wasn't that far what I read on CC was that there was not a sidewalk, etc. Decided not to use my energy on the not so scenic walk.

Hi how far is the walk from the ship to the windmills and little venice and is it easy to get to

thanks

If you tender, you'll land at the pier in Mykonos town. It's an easy walk to Little Venice and then to the windmills via windy laneways. You can get disorientated a bit but that's half the fun. If you can follow the water to your right, you should be ok.

If you dock, you'll be at the new port a mile or so away from Mykonos town. It's walkable but I'd rather take the bus for 1.60E(?) or seabus 2E to get to Mykonos town and then walk to Little Venice or the windmills.

I think some one mentioned the cruiseline runs bus shuttles to town and back. When I was in Dubrovnik Royal Caribbean ran buses to the city and back. They had a drop off and pickup point. I think last buss left downtown an hour prior to sailing. I assume it's the same for Mykonos
