o.k. slightly related to cruising… Will call at Malaga before going to Barcelona. looked all over the web trying to find a Spanish store such as Orange (no Prepaid Data card right now it seems) to buy prepaid IPAD data. Will someone who has recently been to Spain and bought Prepaid >>IPAD<< Data point me in the right direction? Any help much appreciated. Note do not have an IPhone.

Orange has prepaid data sims ok, as do the other operators.

Some light reading:

http://www.spainsim.com/microSIM.htm

Your best bet would probably be a shop such as Phone House (http://www.phonehouse.es) who resell all networks.

You will need identification to buy a sim as Government regulations require that all users are registered.l

Now as to whether they actually 'stock' the correct type of sim card for an ipad, that is another question. I have heard that they need to be ordered and take a few days to arrive.

Thank you VMax1700. The translation of Orange page puts me into an unknown area but I think the card I would want is the "Internet Movil Prepago 3.61Euro Day conexion" right? I think this is for one month starting from about 30 Euros.

Thanks again. Peter
