My husband rented a tuxedo for the Royal TA in October, and he was very pleased with the quality and the fit. Everything was provided and it was so nice not to have to pack formal clothes abroad. He wore the tux three times for all the formal nights on our cruise.

I was very pleased with the setup... Just off the Emerald on 1-28... this was my second time renting tux. This time I got the white & black jacket setup for $130...sizing was perfect both times. The tux and shoes were in the room when we arrived and picked it up the last...it saved us an extra suitcase as well...

 

if you want buy a colored bow tie to ge it up if you want...

Yes, yes, and yes; three separate cruises.

I did have an issue with the shirt size in one instance but the cabin steward was able to swap in the next larger size; lesson: try things on.

Always rent and have always been pleased. Try it on early so any adjustments can be made. If you know know your measurents should have no problems.

Guys, since many of us have tuxedos that have "shrunk" over the years, I share this suggestion I saw on another tuxedo thread:

 

Go to a rental place in your city, and ask to be properly measured for a tux (and write it down carefully.) You don't HAVE to rent from those folks, but I bet the person who measured you would appreciate a tip.

 

Then you know exactly what to order from the cruise line.
