Does RCCL have sand toys on private island?

Does anyone know if RCCL supplies any sort of sand toys for toddlers to play in the sand at Cococay?

 

Also, is there somewhere to sit where some people can have shade and some sun?

I packed $$ store buckets and toys for my grandkids. We left them behind (garbage), because they broke them. Pack some margarine tubs, plastic stuff to play in the sand or go to dollar type store. There is some shade you can sit in.

There are vendors who have sand toys and other stuff for sale but it is expensive. We just buy them at the Dollar store and pack them...stuff socks, etc. into the bucket and the toys won't take up much room.

Last year at Coco Cay I saw a small plastic boat for $10. There are lots of souvenier stuff for sale so take cash.

 

There are plenty of palm trees for shade.

There is a Dollar store on 17th St by the CVS store in FLL.

You'd think they'd have a supply of them there - no? I guess we'll pack a few things to bring.

You can bring a small bucket...stuff underwear or swimsuits, etc...into it (things that can be balled up and not suffer!) and it won't take up any room! Bring a cheap, blow-up float, too....it will save you $15 in rental fees!

 

Or, get some plastic cups on your way off the ship...kids don't care if it's a bucket or not! They will use their imagination! A cup, a stick, a shell....it's all something else to young imaginations! Kids can make do with next to nothing, and have great fun! Unless you've stifled their imaginative powers by giving them too many toys that are specific to the activity.....
