4nzic1 Posted July 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2005 Hi fellow cruisers, Are there any tour companies that you'd recommend in San Juan to do excursions such as Bio Bay, Rainforest, etc? We are a small group sailing on Destiny December 11 but many of us will be arriving 3 days early to partake in San Juan/sightsee. Many months ago I read of a tour company that many of you used that i thought would be perfect for us but when I contacted him, he informed me that he will be closing up shop and moving back to the states by December. Who else would you guys recommend? Thanks in advance
Jim B Posted July 21, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2005 Contact Debbie of Legends of Puerto Rico. If they do this kind of tour you will be very happy. Just go to their web site for information.

Jim B Posted July 22, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 22, 2005 Yes . 8 of us flew into San Juan late the night before our cruise and wanted to do something the next morning so I lined up a private tour with Debbie. Debbie and her driver picked us ,(and our luggage), up at the Comfort Inn. They had a very nice clean oversized van. Our tour was from 9:30am to 2:30 pm . When the tour was done they dropped us and our luggage off at the port where we walked to our ship. We had lots of easy walking sight seeing, stopping at places, time fro breaks etc. It was very good and we enjoyed ourselves.
4nzic1 Posted July 24, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted July 24, 2005 I found the website and will ck them out. I'm looking for a tour company that offers all the things i want to do (rainforest, biobay, and bacardi rum factory) so i don't have to go to two different companies. I'll see what they have to offer. thanks again.

andresnlt98 Posted August 15, 2005 #9 Share Posted August 15, 2005 You could try a reliable enterprise www.puertoricoexcursions.com endorse by the Tourism Board if you are staying in San Juan they operate from The Hotel Area
Jan_In_Maine Posted August 15, 2005 #10 Share Posted August 15, 2005 Thanks for the information andresnlt98 - have you used that tour company at all? I sent an e-mail to Legends but unfortunately at the time we will be in San Juan they don't have the Old San Juan tour available. I was quite dissappointed as it seemed to be perfect ... let me know if anyone has any other ideas or used other tour companies. Thanks.
