It's Coco Reef

You can email them to make a reservation for the day pass. $59 per person for use of the resort for the day including lunch and a glass of wine (kids under 11 are free, lunch extra).

I live in the NY suburbs but grew up in the city and lived there in my 20's. Check out Columbus Avenue on the Upper West Side - from about 68th Street up to 80th or so. Lots of shops and restaurants and less crowded and touristy than midtown. While you're there check out Central Park. Go in on 72nd Street and pass through Strawberry Fields (Dedicated to John Lennon). At 72nd Street and Central Park West is the Dakota, the fabulous apartment building where Lennon lived and was murdered in front of. Also you must visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art (on the other side of the park)!

Wow, that sounds like a good day just right there, thanks.

Forgot to mention the American Museum of Natural History. Not as fabulous as the Metropolitan Museum, but if you are doing the Upper West Side and Central Park it is right there and a fun outing- especially if the weather is not great.

The Capital Grill, various locations in the city and usually pricey, BUT the Time-Life building location has a priced fixed dinner if you go before 7:00 pm (I think) and the steaks are outstanding.

Also, if it hasn't been mentioned, go to Macy's. there are multiple restaurants as well as Starbucks in the store.

It's been rainy around here the last couple of days(I live in the NYC metropolitan area), it's supposed to rain on Thursday and Friday, but be decent this Saturday and Sunday, but yes, pack an umbrella and maybe a jacket or a sweatshirt(the evenings have been a bit cool). Bermuda in June can be rainy(usually early in the morning or at night), but very warm and beautiful.

I happen to really love the Museum of Natural History too. It really deserves a full day, but a half day can still be packed. Also, head over to the NY Public Library near Bryant Park, they will also have some wonderful exhibits. The National Museum of the American Indian downtown near Bowling Green and Battery Park(it's a part of the Smithsonian, admission is free)is an amazing place as well, often overlooked, but a real gem. Here's a link to their site: http://nmai.si.edu/visit/newyork/

Enjoy both NYC and Bermuda!

I mentioned the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Check it out on Friday or Saturday night when it's open late. You can enjoy cocktails in the Great Hall and enjoy live classical music. My husband I did this for one of our first dates 20 plus years ago. There is a wonderful rooftop sculpture garden with fabulous views. I understand it now has a martini bar!

Got any suggestions for NYC on rainy nights?

The Metropolitan Museum Friday night (not the roof garden though).

Other museums are open late too as was suggested above. This article is from 2013 so not sure if it is all still accurate, but call to check:

See a Broadway show - go to TKTS for discount tickets the day of:

Statue of Liberty boat tour/dinner or Grand Cental terminal...the whispering wall, they cleaned the ceiling / look for the small spot they left dirty to see what a difference and a great place to shop and eat.

And Michael Jordan's Steakhouse is literally inside the main room of Grand Central Terminal:

I was going to suggest the Oak Bar at the Plaza Hotel, but I just looked it up and it is closed at the present time. Tea at the Plaza Hotel is a fun tradition - I went as a little girl. Good for a rainy afternoon:
