Rare RachelG Posted February 14, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2014 I can't get the search function to work right now for some reason, but we have done Prague to Budapest in 2011 and Budapest to Munich in 2013. We enjoyed both, but the most recent was really wonderful because it was on one of the new longboats which have reasonable sized cabins and bathrooms. Highly recommend. I blogged both on this site, so if you can get search to work, find the blogs. They contain a ton of detail.
Carolfay Posted February 14, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 14, 2014 We did the Budapest-to-Prague tour on AMA the first week in January a few years ago. Delightful cruise - but be advised the ports of call are very, very cold this time of the year.
jojocmcla Posted February 15, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 15, 2014 We're cruising AmaLyra Prague to Budapest later this spring. Really looking forward to it.
Rare franski Posted February 15, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 15, 2014 If you want detail on this itinerary, I suggest you look at Mike and Carol Preisman's website - http://www.thepreismans.com/ They did Budapest to Prague on the AmaLyra in 2009 --> and Mike's report was instrumental in our booking the same itinerary.
