my pvp is great. He had called before we booked I told him to call me back in a couple of months when I thought we would be ready to book.no calls until then ...He has called twice since I had booked...once was a reminder of final payment,,he didn't wanna see us get any extra charges.. and the other time he called just to check if we had needed any help with booking any excursions.. and he's just a nice guy to talk to

My DH got a postcard from the casino offering special deals. You have to log in to see the deals. So of course, as soon as I log in just to check to see rates, I get a call from someone wanting to help me with my "requested cruise information." I wasn't home and my mom answered the phone. So now they think I am taking everyone on a cruise!!

I get these same calls too, and I only use a TA, and they have ALL her information in my account. It's SO obnoxious. I finally told them I had a different PVP and gave them her name (a friend that is a PVP for CCL) and they stopped calling. At one point they were calling so often I told them I'd never book Carnival again. The calls stopped briefly after that point.

 

The ONLY time I want a call from a PVP is for an upgrade for a decent price. Which I doubt they'll do because I have a TA which is fine by me.

I do mock bookings daily right now because I'm waiting for carnival to release some 4-person balcony staterooms for 2. The only way I can see if they're still available is to do a mock booking. Still, I never get calls from carnival.

 

Just a heads up, if you're looking for our Dream cruise look now, I just changed my cabin yesterday to a 4 person as soon as I saw a few more spa balconies open up. I'm on carnival.com a lot also and never get the calls.

we have a Magic Jack and for some reason the PVP's phone won't work with it :-D highly recommend!
