Finally onboard Inspiration-delayed boarding

First time we've had to wait to board in Long Beach, didn't start letting priority board until approx 12:20. I guess a delay in getting the All Clear.

 

Oh well, all is good, we're in our cabin. First 'new' thing we saw was on the bed:

New luggage mat! It says "Luggage Mat is my name. Protecting the comfy is my game." I'll see if I an load a pic from my phone.

Off to see the new menu, hope to scan something later.

We had a delayed boarding on our last cruise on the Inspiration. The ship had been a private sailing and it took them a long time to get it clean from the group that had been on board. We didn't board until after 1!

 

Anyhow, cute luggage mat!

 

Please take pics of the new menus if you can. I am super inerested to see what the port of call menu will be for the stops! Have a great cruise!!

The menu is pretty wide, I might have to scan it in sections. Here's a pic if the first night's Port O'Call selections. And the desert menu-fruit plate is listed as available

Is this for dinner? Does that mean that they bring a pie for the table to share, and you can select a separate dessert individually?

I think I've read that everyone can order individually, but if enough people order pie they would bring a whole pie out?

Arrived at the Priority lounge at1:30, in our cabin by 1:45.

 

So far, so good.

All the sandwiches are very good and the ice cream/yogurt machines are already getting a work out.

 

She still has the old pizza :(

No announcement, but it is approx 15 minutes past stated muster drill time and no sign of orange vests, no whistles, no CD announcement. I think people are still boarding.
