bigenna Posted February 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2014 Our first time to choose interior on 15 day Hawaii cruise in October and would appreciate any input on available staterooms. The ones remaining seem to be below just the entrance to Princess theater. P239, 240, 243, 424, 263. Has anyone stayed in any of these staterooms and any comments, positive or negative as to location, possible noise, etc?

I think the furthest I have stayed back was P227 and I didn't hear any noises. This is my favorite deck and I've stayed in a plaza cabin on 3 different princess ships. (Grand, Crown, Ruby) It's so great to be so close to the IC in the morning :) Edited February 15, 2014 by Jadn13
chrysalis Posted February 15, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2014 Over the years, we have about 120 days in P239....and pick it every time, if available.

lljost Posted February 16, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 16, 2014 My DH and I love staying on Plaza. Doesn't matter which cabin we have stayed in, inside or out, have loved them all for their convenience. And have had no problems with noise of any kind. Enjoy! :)
LucyR. Posted February 16, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 16, 2014 It is close to all the action on the Atrium Paza deck. Plus, when ever I want a late snack I can just walk to the Coffee Café and get a late night snack without having to take an elevator. I am booked on P231 on the Sapphire for March. I am super happy that I found that cabin and booked it. All of those cabins are super quiet. Since you have an insider.... make sure to put your t.v. on channel 44 on mute as a night light and in the morning you get to see the sun and the outside world. It is like having a window. A few weeks ago when I woke up I saw the NCL STAR SHIP taking up the whole screen on my t.v. It was so funny. We were in Puerto Vallarta. lol. pablo222 Posted February 16, 2014 #9 Share Posted February 16, 2014 Over the years, we have about 120 days in P239....and pick it every time, if available. Are there two night stands, or one double-wide? I've been on plaza a lot, and many of the cabins have a special double-wide night stand -- apparently because they are slightly narrower than other cabins. So, if you have a queen bed, either one side has to be against the wall, or you have to turn the night stand sideways, and lose access to the drawers. Other than that, I love plaza. Perfect to run out to the i.cafe for first coffee of the day.
mkazmer Posted February 16, 2014 #10 Share Posted February 16, 2014 We love staying on Plaza Deck - so close to the IC and easy access to everything else on the ship - would request this deck anytime.

I love also just being able wander out in my yoga pants and zip up running jacket to grab a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. It's also convenient to the laundry room which was nice when I needed to just quickly iron a pair of pants. :) I wouldn't travel on any other deck. Have a Trans Atlantic booked for April on this deck also an interior,I don't need to be reminded we are at sea for 6 Days Edited February 16, 2014 by Jadn13
GweninTX Posted February 16, 2014 #13 Share Posted February 16, 2014 Love these cabins! Have stayed in them 3 different cruises. Only noise is dropping anchor on a Tender port. Love being close to the IC and also fantastic when coming back from port excursions - no elevator wait for you! There are a couple near the door to the IC that are HUGE inside cabins! Check these out!

That's Important Make Sure You Get A Cabin With Out Bunk Beds they take up room and are annoying.

canadarocks Posted February 16, 2014 #20 Share Posted February 16, 2014 We'll be on the Emerald for 20 days soon, on our very first Princess cruise. I booked an inside on the Plaza deck based on all the great things I read about them here!
K D cruiser Posted February 16, 2014 #21 Share Posted February 16, 2014 We've been in several insides, but if the price difference isn't too much more, we always choose E619. It's an "unobstructed" obstructed view stateroom between two tenders and the view is really good. I'd pick that over an inside every time if you can do it. GweninTX Posted February 16, 2014 #22 Share Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) Be sure and get one without the beds in the ceiling. If you are tall you will go home with bruises on your head from banging your head on them! Learned our lesson on that one!
