Should I be concerned that on the roll call for my trip I'm the only one listed? this is my first cruise and I see lots of names on other roll calls but there are none listed for my May 12, 2014 trip..should I be concerned?

This can happen and has happened.

Remember that the number of CC people on a ship is a very small number -- I think someone mentioned -- like 3% if even that high on some cruises.

It could be that some people haven't booked, or as Krazy Kruiser mentioned, the percentage of people who will be on board haven't heard of CC, have heard of it and don't bother with online forums, or are members here but don't want to deal with roll calls.

 

My last couple of cruises I read the roll calls, but didn't join in (the first time I was surprising someone so I didn't want to say I was going, and the second time I wanted to be low key). Also, my family plans our own time in port, so we're not interested in joining others on private excursions.

 

It's still a few months away so you might end up getting more people posting, or someone might end up not seeing your thread and start up their own roll call for the same sailing.

I would not worry about it. Nothing you can do anyway. You may want to double check that there is not another Roll Call for the cruise.
