Alaska 2015 bookings

The Alaska deployment is due to be released "week of 2/17" for Captain's Club members and "week of 2/24" for everyone else. So technically it's not late yet.

I am aware of the deployment schedule --- it is the same as Royal Caribbean's. I never said it was late --- just wondering what is taking so long to post.

Just called and talked with a certified vacation planner (after a LONG hold) and was able to book our Alaska June 2015 cruise.

Karen... i too want to book June 2013. I've called X and spoke to three different people since you posted... all are saying it's not possible to book yet as they have nothing on their systems for Alaska in 2015.

What number did youcall? Do you know who you spoke to?

Thank you!

I just called back again and finally got a certified vacation planner that was actually willing to go "above and beyond" and he found the rates for me for summer 2015. He said too that they are not in their systems (although they were earlier this morning), but he went and got the manual rates for me.

The consultant's name was Steve F. if anybody wants to call and get help booking.

After a series of phone transfers, I somehow wound up in the Certified Vacation Planners phone bank. I spoke with a very nice gentleman named John who helped me out. I know it was the CVP location because I asked him specifically what area was I talking to since I had been transferred so much. Anyway, I asked John if I needed to call back what number could I call and he gave me two numbers: 1-800-556-8209 and 1-800-647-2251 --- a 24-hour availability number.

I just called the the "8206" number a few minutes ago because the Vacation Protection Plan was added onto my booking (I had not asked for this) and I wanted it deleted. My wait time for my call to the CVP was very short. I didn't ask for John, any agent could help me out.

Hope the information helps -- let me know if you were successful -- good luck. :)

The Alaska cruise schedule just went up today. No prices are shown, just the dates and cruise lengths for the Solstice, Millennium and, now, Infinity.

Log on and then go under Captain's Club Exclusive Offers.

Thank you.

But I do not find "Exclusive offers".

Can you just give another hint please or post a link or screenshot?

Would be helpful!!

You need to log into your Celebrity Cruises account before you can see the Exclusive Offers under the Captains Club tab. I would post the link but I don't know if it would give you access to my account with Celebrity.

Hope this helps.

I have found it, thank you!!! :)

It was more or less clear that INFINITY returns to Alaska in 2015 since CENTURY is due to leave the fleet.

Sadly just the dates and no. of nights and ships are shown, no ports of call or prices - but at least for MILLENNIUM and SOLSTICE, I guess the itineraries in 2015 are the same as in 2014...

Which ship could replace INFINITY out of Harwich in 2015 for the Norway/GB itineraries? CONSTELLATION??

And what about Panama Canal? Wasn't the release also planned for the week of 17th Feb??

Apparently the schedules have been adjusted. Latest Press release from X:

Celebrity Cruises World Tour 2015-16: Rocking The Globe

Email

FEBRUARY 20, 2014

Celebrity Cruises, the award-winning modern luxury cruise line, will offer an array of thrilling adventures and itineraries in 2015-16 to excite world travelers. With an enticing lineup of 261 destinations in 72 countries, Celebrity will sail to all seven continents, visit new ports of call in Alaska, Europe and Asia, and offer exciting overnight stays, many of which coincide with internationally renowned festivals. Full details of Celebrity Cruises’ 2015-16 will be revealed as each set of itineraries opens for bookings.

Marking the launch of Celebrity's World Tour, Celebrity has today unveiled 51 sailings to Alaska. Three modern, luxurious ships will sail to this magnificent state, including Celebrity Millennium, and Celebrity Infinity, which returns to the region for 2015-16. Celebrity Solstice, the newest of all cruise ships sailing to Alaska, offers the most verandas at sea, allowing incredible views of the unique scenery and wildlife. Guests can experience Sitka, with its snow-capped mountains, and the awe-inspiring Hubbard Glacier, the longest river of ice in North America, and one of the most active glaciers in Alaska. Captain’s Club loyalty members will have exclusive 'Priority Access' for booking their Alaska trips beginning today, February 20, 2014, five days before the official on sale date - February 25, 2014.

To inspire vacationers, Celebrity will sail to new far-flung destinations for the first time ever. New ports include:

• Haines, Alaska

• Fredericia, Denmark

• Beppu and Kanazawa, Japan

• Vladivostok, Russia

• Dublin Bay (Dun Laoghaire), Ireland

Celebrity will also offer exciting overnight stays in 2015-16 with 29 destinations to choose from. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the nightlife in dynamic, culture-rich cities and be part of glamorous, world-renowned events and occasions such as:

• Celebrity Constellation will visit Venice, Italy, during the Redentore Festival

• Celebrity Silhouette will overnight in Edinburgh, Scotland during the British Open Golf Tournament

• Celebrity Equinox will overnight in Cannes during the star-studded Cannes Film Festival

• Celebrity Equinox will present overnight stays in two destinations widely recognized for their vivacious nightlife: Ibiza, Spain and Mykonos, Greece

• Celebrity Millennium will overnight in Hong Kong during festive Chinese New Year celebrations

Along with newly added destinations and overnight stays, guests can indulge in the new “Suite Class” experience, which launches during April 2015. New luxury benefits include:

• A dedicated suites-only restaurant using world class ingredients, available morning, noon and night

• A VIP lounge, Michael's Club, for guests in Celebrity, Signature, Royal, Penthouse and Reflection suites

• Complimentary 'all in' benefits - Premium beverages, dining at any specialty restaurant, unlimited internet access, private bar with water, sodas and beers - all included for guests staying in Royal, Penthouse and Reflection suites

To make the booking experience as luxurious as the vacation itself, Celebrity has taken the concept of a printed travel planning brochure and transformed it into an experiential tablet app, using Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. From detailed ship layouts to interactive videos, this innovative technology offers an immersive experience while they plan their upcoming journeys.

Celebrating the launch of Celebrity’s World Tour, each destination will open with an incredible offer. For the first time in Celebrity’s history, guests can receive up to $400 to spend onboard for every cruise or cruisetour that is four nights or longer (from the newly available sailings) and booked by April 30, 2014, excluding Celebrity Xpedition sailings. In addition, the offer can be combined with select future promotions. For more information, guests can visit celebritycruises.com, call 1-800-647-2251 or contact their travel agent.

Celebrity is also introducing a World Tour Sweepstakes. Guests have the chance to win incredible vacations, and the grand prize is a 14-night cruise for two in Asia. Contest entrants can also have a chance to receive instant-win prizes. Vacationers can visit celebritycruises.com/worldtoursweeps for more details.

It doesn't do much good to say we can book Alaska cruises starting today if you can't see the actual cruises or dates. My DW and I want to book a cruise-tour and the southbound cruise, but not without seeing what's available. Still can't view anything as of 10 minutes ago!

This is what we ran into last year when wanting to book an Alaska cruise tour for this July. If we had not wanted to do a cruise tour I would not have cared that I could not see the options in line.

I just waited a few days and booked once I could see the info on the web site. Prices and offers were the same.

Mary Lou,

Our same sentiments. We've been to Alaska twice in the last 10 years on Infinity. If we were just going to do an Alaska cruise, we would jump back on Infinity in a minute as she is our favorite ship. Not knowing a lot about cruise tours, we want to see which one we want to do.

I spoke with the X rep today for quite some time and got info on several Alaska itineraries for 2015. Infinity had interesting 11 and 12-night itineraries. The 12-night one looks fabulous and has some new ports. It departed from San Francisco, then had 2 sea days, then Sitka, Juneau, Skagway, Haines, Tracy Arm Fjord, Ketchikan, sea day, Nanaimo, Victoria and ending in Vancouver. The price for an S1 was $9,030 CDN for two people (all in) and an S2 was $8590. I really wanted to do that 12-day, but I ultimately decided to do a 7-day northbound and then tack on a few days on land after arrival in Seward. We did that last time in Alaska, and I loved the combo cruise, and then touring around the state a bit. The cruise price was a little higher than I was expecting, but hopefully it will come down a little.

We got $250 in OBCs with our booking. 123 didn't apply. If you log into the website and go to Captain's Club then Exclusive Offers, you will find the OBC table for 2015 bookings.
