Looking forward to Ryndam Transatlantic April 06, 2014

I am so looking forward to the Azores, hope the water temps are warm to snorkel or dive (without wetsuits) we are warm water divers and love the beach. If cold we may have to differ to some other time, but the Azores are not easy to get too !:( Does anyone know what activities will be planned onboard the sea days? :) Looking forward to Spain stops also :)

Sounds like a wonderful cruise.

Sea days -- Bingo, cooking demonstrations, cooking classes (you pay for wine), digital workshops (free), wine tastings (you pay for), dance classes, making towel demonstrations, trivia, etc.

OP: I'm jealous! Wish I were returning this spring on the Ryndam and stopping at the Azores. We passed very close to them last November, but they were not on our itinerary. From a distance, the islands reminded me of Hawaii. Anyway, you will have plenty to do and will enjoy the Ryndam. She is a lovely ship.

We were on the Ryndam spring TA last year and stopped in the Azores- it was fantastic!! Although the scenery reminded me of Hawaii it was waaaayyyy too chilly and foggy/cloudy to imagine getting in the water. We went to the thermal spring and, due to the air temp,s that even felt like a polar plunge!

Enjoy those first few sea days poolside as you swing around Florida, the rest of your sea days will likely be a bit cooler and fly by!
