Chops for breakfast/lunch in GS- dress code?

This is our first time in a GS. On Indy. Can we wear a nice dress like coverup to breakfast and/or lunch in chops?

Yes, very casual, same as breakfast/lunch in the MDR.

D+, P and suites only. But you really will only need to show one card when you enter, I'm sure they will let your kids in with you if you enter together. My cabinmate didn't have status, but there wasn't a problem for her to come in with me. There were two other people having breakfast. One guy alone and then the Captain alone.

 

Its very casual in there for breakfast and lunch.

The best breakfast in a GS is the one you eat on your balcony in your robe when ordering off the main dining room menu :)
