Another foot wear question

Back to not wanting to over pack ...most of our excursion are straight to a beach, we will not be doing much walking or have any rugged adventures planned. I invested in some great walking sandals for our Disney trip and they worked well for the 10+ miles a day I put on. I really want to use the treadmill in the mornings, will these be okay, will they even let me on the equipment without sneakers? Thanks for the help

Carol

I don't know if the gym attendants will say anything, but I wouldn't use open-toed / open-heeled shoes on a treadmill even if I were on land. Remember that you'll also need to keep your balance if the ship is rocking, and if you lose your balance, you're more likely to stub a toe or otherwise injure your feet.

I think the idea about walking on the ships running path is a great idea in lieu of going to the gym. But please, don't get on a treadmill with open-toed shoes. It's too dangerous. Anyway, I've never been to a gym where they were allowed.
