Has anyone heard any more news about the Allure of the seas

being fixed this week and if it is fixed and sailing on march 2nt?

I am sailing on her and royal Caribbean is not telling if it will or won't.

I have been calling everyday and they keep saying they have no

word if it will or will not sail next week.

This is the only week I can get off work and really need this getting away.

If it can not sail this Sunday can royal Caribbean book me on other ships

this close to sailing dates? Need this vacation badly. No idea what to do

if the ship is not sailing for my vacation then.[/b]

I would keep checking the ship's webcam to see if it was still docked or at sea making it's way back to Ft. Lauderdale. Go into Royal's website, under Planning a Cruise, click Allure and you'll see Webcam to click on and arrow down to Pool and Sports Zone.

Talk about stressful!

Sending positive thoughts your way!!

Good luck!

I would not be too concerned, I am sure it will be done. I would not focus on when she leaves the ship yard either. It probably will not leave until late Saturday night. I am sure it can not dock in Ft Lauderdale early ( at least until Oasis leaves Saturday evening) and it isn't going to cruise around wasting fuel. Short trip back to Florida when it is done.

Im sure you be on that cruise because for them to wait last minute that sure is a lot of problems, people do fly in earlier from living in other places. People need to change airfares and have hotels reserved and would loose their deposits if the cruise was cancelled, don't give it another thought just think about boarding her sunday.

I wonder if she's going to take a few full throttle laps for sea trials before returning home.

However, if they did find something wrong, there wouldn't be any time left to fix it. So, perhaps the 1st paid cruise will be the sea trial.

Some of her 3/2 passengers were already on by 10:35, it would be nice in two weeks if we can get on her that early but know it's not possible and just wishful thinking.

To the OP: I sure hope you are at the ship right now. Allure completed her repair and spent Friday afternoon and yesterday at sea. Allure arrived in Ft. Lauderdale this morning and is boarding for her sailing today.
