Queen Elizabeth Sydney Mardi Gras Sail In 1 March

Recommended Posts

Arrived two hours later than sceduled and has tied up bow in. normally the "queens" are stern in. Hopes it's got nothing to do with the Mardi Gras:D:D

All ships longer than 300m (such as the QM2) have to dock stern in due to mooring requirements. The QE is only 294m so she gets to park her rear end wherever she wants.

We drove over the Cahill Expressway earlier today. The QE looked most impressive with the big rainbow banner and the giant silver shoe up top.

Such a shame about the weather, it's a horrible wet day here and the weather radar shows no sign of it letting up - there is more rain coming over from the west :(
