Geared more for your 10 year old, although the older ones will enjoy the water toys. If you want to look at a pay-as-you-go beach club that all of your kids may enjoy check out Paradise Beach.

My brother took his kids to Playa Mia their last time in Cozumel..

Here's what he relayed..

Pros-

Nice beach (but same as Nachi, Mr. Sanchos, Paradise Beach etc...)

Same inflatable water toys you have at Mr. Sanchos and Paradise Beach

But also...

3 pools including a big kiddie pool a 10 year old should love.

2 water slides

Cons-

The buffett was ok at best

Asked him about the drinks and he said the drinks were not watered down the day they were there.

(sounds more like a bartender issue)

Hope that helps.

Google pictures to see the multiple pools, slides and amenities that you can't get elsewhere and see if they are worth it to your family.

I have a complete review of the entire area with tons of pictures listed in my signature line. (They did not have the water toys out the day we were there and they have actually "upgraded" the toys now).

Our drinks were definitely not watered down. ;) We enjoyed our day there.

I have been going to Playa Mia since 1997 and have been there maybe a dozen times. Our next visit will be in June. It is a great place to take the family and have fun in the sun. We think the food is very good and the drinks are always great. Love the mix of beach, water toys, and water park for my kids. Can't wait to go back. Many fun things to do in Cozumel. This is for sure one of them.

My DH got the AI package and the drinks were not watered down, in fact, he had to ask them to remake his first couple because they were too strong, and he can drink strong drinks usually no problem.

I can't compare to other places, but there would be plenty for all ages to do, that's for sure.
