What was your first Carnival ship?

Valor in 2006. Got me hooked on cruising but I am not a fan of the layout of the ship. The Spirit class are my favorite layout.

The Sensation in 2009. She will always hold a special place in my heart. 5 yrs later I will be boarding my 4th cruise on the Sunshine (in just 49 short days). I was addicted before I even boarded the first time :D

First CCL ship was the Holiday back in 1989 when she was a baby. JH was the cruise director on her back then.

Paradise October 2002 out of Miami for our Honeymoon. It was a Non-Smoking ship back then.

I wish I could remember which ship we took back in 1996. We took one Carnival ship out of N.O. to Tampa, switched ships there, and brought the bigger Carnival Ship back to N.O. I think it was early May 1996. Not really sure which month, just remembered I had to take my son out of school for a week. It was fine until he found out his teacher's sister was in our group, so he still had to complete his school work.

My first cruise was on the Jubilee out of LA. Mexican Rivera. Remember thinking how big that ship was. Now I think back and laugh. And even though we had a wonderful time did not cruise again for 10 years and boy had things changed.

The Ecstasy in 1991. My parents were avid cruisers and they wanted to introduce us to the love of cruising. I was 21 at the time, and I fell in love with cruising.

 

I remember at the time it was the largest ship at sea. On a recent cruise, might have been Oasis, we pulled near Ecstasy in port, and oh my, it paled in comparison.
