Seuss at Sea

When this announcement was made a few months back there were tons of threads, speculation, celebration and disgust.

 

I believe the program has been on Splendor for a few weeks now?

 

Any reviews or photos? :confused:

There was a press release over on Facebook. There were some that lauded this, and a lot that scoffed at it. It doesn't sound like it is being sectioned off as promised, with paraes around the ship. I'd rather see none of it.

considering you never cruise Carnival you should have nothing to worry about then should you.

Just got off the Splendor yesterday, I can tell you for sure that we were indeed the first Seuss at sea. It is indeed a good program, and yes they did have a parade that went from the El Morocco lounge aft up the Promenade past the Casino and then down the two flights of stairs to the Atrium lobby and then right to the Spectacular Main Lounge to have there Story told to them by Malcolm the CD, who did an impressive job being a storyteller.

 

It was hardly anything that would make people go out of their way to avoid. It was fun, and maybe more people should remember that. :)

 

My 7 yr old son, wife and mother in law all took part, and loved it.

 

There will soon be a new Carnival "commercial " on you tube for Dr. Seuss, they said it may take a week or so, check it out , guess what, my family will be on it.... :)

Anyone know exactly when it will debut on the dream? I see the Dream is one due to get it in 2014. I think it sounds neat and hope my family can take advantage!

This is a great idea for the young cruisers and also the adults too who still enjoy Dr. Seuss. The parade sounds fun too.

I am right there with you. Still love Dr. Seuss! Might even have to eat the green eggs and ham. I remember making green scrambled eggs when I was a kid, looked terrible, actually ended up kinda blue, but tasted good!

Doesn't ncl have the dora and sponge bob thing and rci has madigascar (sp) charactors. Do they all do the basically same things?
