KatSt Posted March 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2014 I'm going on the Alaska Glacier Bay cruise on the Golden Princess. Is there a preferable side of the ship to book a cabin in order to have the best sight seeing from the balcony? Thanks.
CruiserBruce Posted March 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) A little reading on the board will reveal it doesn't matter. You will be wondering all over the ship, as you are not locked in your cabin. For Glacier bay, it is a "dead end" street. Meaning you will go in, traveling at a slow pace, turn around a couple of times, and come out. So you will have ample opportunity to see all around. Plus glaciers are very large objects. It is not like you will miss one if you aren't on the correct side of the ship at a certain 5 minute period.
