Independence of the Sea Pool Area Seating for Gold,Silver Member

I read somewhere on a Indy review about area's for seating around the pool deck for Gold, Silver, Etc. Members for seating. I can't find it now and was just wondering if they are roped off areas or just a sign.

The only reserved seating is for passengers with a gold seapass card for those in a grand suite or larger.

Generally the only areas "roped off" would be for the Gold Card suite guests.

Actually has to be a Grand Suite or better.

Yes, or a Pinnacle member. They get gold cards no matter their accomodations.

It is only for suite guests with a gold sea pass. Junior suites not included.

Anyway, it's not always a preferred area - on some ships I have seen the Gold Card area and I would prefer to sit somewhere else. :D

This was the area on Indy last month. Located on either side of the pool bar on deck 11. The aisles are roped off

On an IOS cruise the Gold seating area was adjacent to open seating. Other than one section being reserved there was no difference in the locations. The Gold reserved area was roped off but you could sit 5 feet away in the open area.
