Yes. It was great. The little pool was nice and clean. Walking distance to the free metro mover (forgot full name) and brickell village with restaurants. It really earns it's top place on trip advisors miami hotels. Nice free breakfast too. It's more like a boutique hotel than a Hampton. Not super close to port. Less than $20 cab ride to POM.

Yes, we stayed there last November and loved it. We took the metrorail from the airport and it was easy. The next day we went to the MiamiSeaquarium and took the bus to get there.

The pool was quiet and nice. Not huge but my kids loved it. The people that worked there were above the top nice.

There is a grocery store a few blocks away in Mary Brickell village (an outdoor mall) and a great rotisserre chicken restaurant across the street.

I would definitely go again.

Are we talking about the Hampton Inn or is there another hotel call the Hamilton Inn?

I believe they are discussiong the Hampton Inn Mary Brickell Village -- in the past year or so it has become one of the more popular pre-cruise hotels in downtown Miami.

We stayed there in Feb 2013 - the Hampton Inn Brickell that is. Was a great stay and location. Easy walk to all sorts of places, grocery store, pharmacy, Mary Brickell Village with lots of places to eat, and the water front for a nice stroll. Located in the "financial district" of Miami which is a pretty safe part of the city.

Staff was nice, rooms were nice, free breakfast was good, and the price was fair. I'd definitely stay there again if sailing out of Miami.

First hotel I've ever been in where you had to go to the 5th floor to checkin, and had to swipe your room key in the elevator to get to your room floor (for security I guess). The first four floors are parking garage I believe.

Ok thanks, I thought so. Our group is staying there next month for our

Getaway cruise so the positive reviews are nice to hear.

We are staying here in a few weeks, flying into MIA late evening. Did you feel safe using the train? I was wondering if we should opt to take a cab since we're coming in after 8:00pm.

Also, is there a grocery store nearby within walking distance? Need to pick up a few things before the cruise.

There are actually two Publix grocery stores within walking distance. The one is Mary Brickell village is a bit nicer.

They are both a few short blocks away from the hotel. You will also have a Walgreens drugstore that you can walk to and that is near the Publix on 13th/Coral Way.
