Black sea cruises

Do these continue in 2014, especially the Crimean ports? We are booked in August and concerned as to how much change there will be to itinerary and effect on trip. Regent Seven Seas Mariner July 29th

They may change the entire itinerary if the situation is still bad.

Cruise line will monitor the situation and adjust the itinerary as needed. Changes can be made well in advance or they can make the changes the morning you were due in a port.

Being an "ocean liner" cruise, it wouldn't be too difficult to go to alternative ports. However, we were booked on a river cruise Kiev to Odessa in May. Unless we were going to a totally different part of the world when you're cruising down a river, it's really not possible to significantly change an itinerary. We'd be stopping in Kiev, Yalta, Sevastopol, Odessa and places I can's spell or pronounce with out looking them up. Anyway.... we received notification last week that the trip was canx. Full refund or pick another trip at $100 off.

You can look there,seems Regent is changing ports,and having overnites in Istanbul,etc.

Probably on Regent boards as well.Hope they ve contacted YOU or your TA by now.;)
