Our first cruise was on the Big Red Boat I think in 1993.

Our next (First Princess) cruise was November 2008, for my 75th birthday, 10 day Panama Canal, on the Coral Princess, from Fort Lauderdale to Acapulco, we were a party of 11 Family & friends, since then we've added 25 on Princess & 2 on other lines, with 5 more booked this year, two of them B2B on the Royal for Christmas & New Years. ;) :D

We're about to ry our first Princess cruise, on the Diamond, which I am exited about. First time in Asia, too.

It's our third cruise overall, having previously tried Thomson in the eastern Med and RC in the Caribbean.

Ruby, early December, 2008. (It was one of the early Ruby sailings.) Also, it was our first cruise.

We've been hooked ever since and just finished our voyage that made us Platinum level. We've only done Ruby & Crown and always in the Caribbean. Next cruise, we are venturing out of the Caribbean and the Ruby/Crown.

First cruise was the Carnival Tropicale - 1998:eek: Then we tried RCCL but heard that the Grand Princess had the most balconies at sea. So in 2001 we booked our first Princess cruise on the Grand, the largest cruise ship at the time and our Captain was Captain Romano who is now the Commodore. Loved that ship and have sailed mostly Princess ships ever since:D

Our first cruise was on the old Golden Princess (Royal Viking Sky) for our 30th anniversary in June 1996. RT San Francisco/Alaska.

Our cabin had portholes ($1,400 extra!!!) and twin beds attached to opposite walls. We had the same table for two for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Entertainment was in the Dining Room after the tables were cleared.

We were hooked!! DH asked if next time could we try a new ship, so in September 1998 we boarded the Grand Princess for her inaugural TA. We were gobsmacked by her size.

The rest is history!!

Cheers, Denise

Golden Princess September 2003 Canada/New England

It took forever for my boyfriend at the time to convince me to go as I have an intense fear of being in large bodies of water. We hit a really rough storm in the Atlantic on the way back and I was extremely seasick  OMG that ship was rocking & rolling!

It's a miracle that I ever got back on a cruise ship again, but despite the rough journey, I was hooked and cruising is now my favorite way to vacation. I especially enjoy the Princess experience. It's the perfect fit for me so far but I have many other cruise lines to try yet ;)

Our first cruise was a 7-day Western Caribbean on Crown Princess. Enjoyed everything about it and have since had 2 great 10-day cruises on Emerald Princess - Eastern and Southern Carib. Loved all of them!! Hoping for another cruise in 2015 to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary:)

in 1985 timeframe, Mexican cruise with ex-wife. First cruise ever, had an inside room. It was so different than today, all meals were in dining room even breakfast. No room service, no buffet, no specialty restaurants, no International Cafe but morning bullion, ice cream in the afternoon and midnight buffet. Cruise director knew all passengers by name by end of cruise. (only 600 passengers)

Our first Princess cruise was on December 8, 1989, on the original Star Princess. This ship was supposed to be one of two new Sitmar newbuilds. I remember being disappointed when I learned that Princess had bought out Sitmar. Then we took the cruise. Princess has been our favorite line ever since. Especially memorable was a cruise on the Crown Princess in January of 1992. Our "cruise souvenir" arrived exactly 9 months later. He just turned 21, and celebrated this milestone in the casino and lounges of the new Royal Princess. (I think his liver survived the trip, but he did stop going to the casino after 4 days...)

My first Princess cruise was on the Caribbean Princess, Eastern Caribbean itinerary. I had already been on Carnival, RCL and NCL, but I will never forget stepping onto the CB and knowing this was my cruise line. My husband felt it too. The decor was tasteful, soothing and elegant. You never felt like you were on a ship with 2000+ people. We have stayed with princess ever since and are now platinum.

The CB will always be one of my favorites as it was our introduction to Princess, but now I am ready to try one of the newer ships. We just got off the Grand and are already planning our next cruise. Can't wait!

Our first Princess cruise in 1982 on the earlier Sun Princess to the Caribbean was our second cruise. Our 58th cruise will be on the Royal Princess in October to New England and Canada. Over the years we had difficulty booking with Princess as their cruises seemed to fill up quickly. One of our favorite ships was the original Royal Princess which we helped to name when we were on the Pacific Princess. It was a beautiful ship, such a nice size.

I remember when my parents sailed on the original Golden in 1993 out of SF

Didn't it hold about 800 passengers? I drove them to Pier 35 to catch the ship and waited until she sailed. My mom still talks about how horrid their cabin was. They had received an upgrade to a porthole cabin, but there was leakage in the cabin and they could barely turn around. However, that cruise was one of the best cruises they had been on. They loved their dining companions and loved the food, the table side preparations, just the whole ambience.

First cruise was Oct 2001 on the Voyager of the Seas. It was my and the ex's 15th anniversary, and right after 9/11.

First Princess cruise was with the (now) DH on the Crown in 2010 for my spring break. We'd been dating about six months and I figured if we could survive seven days in close quarters, we had a chance. Next cruise is the Island/Panama Canal full transit for my graduation (Yay!) and his 60th birthday.
