brenderlou Posted March 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2014 Well the time is almost here and we'll be on the Oasis tomorrow for 7 fun filled days. We've never gotten to a cruise early since we live local and will usually grab lunch close by and then head over to the ship. With the Oasis, we would like to board early but not sure when we should get there? We don't feel like sitting around for an extended time after checking in, waiting to board but would like the luxury of getting on early to start exploring. No worries about the cabin not being ready as we will check all our bags with the porters. Thanks

Thanks When we sailed on the Allure in November we arrived at the port around 10:30 and they started boarding around 11:30. We loved, loved, loved the Allure so I know you are going to have a wonderful cruise on the Oasis!!! Edited March 21, 2014 by GTO-Girl
Darkwolfe Posted March 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2014 10:30am seems to be a good time to arrive for most ships.
bigsky Posted March 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2014 I'm always there by 10:30. I'd rather wait there than the hotel. Too excited!
lazeyey Posted March 21, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 21, 2014 I got there at 11 am and couldn't sit with the gold cardholders because there wasn't enough room, so we had to wait longer than we should have to get on the ship. I would get there around 10.
caneguy Posted March 21, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 21, 2014 I am also sailing tomorrow!!! I plan on getting to port around 11 AM. dacsmom Posted March 22, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 22, 2014 I usually get there between 10:30 and 11:00 and do not have much of a wait at all. Have a great cruise.
oneputt18 Posted March 22, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 22, 2014 Just sailed Oasis in December, if you get there around 11AM you should be on the ship by 11:45 the latest. We also live local. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
rsail203 Posted March 22, 2014 #9 Share Posted March 22, 2014 I don't know if you were serious about this statement "No worries about the cabin not being ready as we will check all our bags with the porters." Whatever you do, don't check all your bags! Bring any medications, valuables, id's and paperwork in a carryon bag. Baggage has been lost or delayed and you need id to get on the ship. kruzerci Posted March 22, 2014 #10 Share Posted March 22, 2014 10:30. We were onboard the big girl by 11:15 in December. Check in is a breeze in that terminal.
Rare LMaxwell Posted March 22, 2014 #11 Share Posted March 22, 2014 Live local as well; don't go at 10 or 10:30; you'll just cool your heels in the terminal or security lines. Arrive around 11:15-11:30 and good chance you will be onboard by noon.
