Stratheden Posted March 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 22, 2014 Sorry but all the info seems to be about wine and corkage. We are not wine drinkers - we usually have a couple of G&T's ot V&T's at happy hour and then just drink water with our dinner. I like wine but it gives me a headache and I feel dreadful the next day. How would we go about getting a bottle of Vodka or Gin for our room to mix for ourselves if we wanted one. Not sure if I would bother but just wondering? I prefer the atmosphere of the ocean bar rather than drinking in our room.
RuthC Posted March 22, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 22, 2014 You can order a bottle for your cabin in advance by contacting Ships Services. Check your booking; you may be able to order on line, through that, too. Or, you can order from Room Service after you board.

There's a long list of booze that you can pre-order to be delivered to your cabin on embarkation day.
WisRiver Posted March 22, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2014 We enjoy a G & T in the evening. You can order a liter of gin and mixers from room service when you arrive on board. We usually pick up limes, snacks and more mixer before we get on board when we buy our Coke Zero. If memory serves me right the cost of a bottle of Beefeaters and three mixers about $30. Rare POA1 Posted March 22, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 22, 2014 Here is the list of Gin brands that were stocked on our sailing this month: Bombay, Tanqueray, Nieuw Amsterdam, Bombay Sapphire, Tanqueray 10, Jong Bols You should be able to order a bottle of any of them from room service. They're 1L bottles. Sorry, but I don't know the prices.

I don't know where the happy hours are this year, but I think they might have been in the Ocean Bar on my last cruise. Trish

TheEmerson Posted March 22, 2014 #9 Share Posted March 22, 2014 If you are going all out. Get club soda water and bring onboard Jack Rudy Tonic Syrup. Now you will have the start of a good G&T.
