Does Carnival offer transfers to and from the orlando airport to the port Canaveral cruise terminal? Thinking about doing the Sunshine cruise next year and don't want to have to deal with finding tranportation to and from the port from MCO. Thanks for your answers!

yes they do. But only on the day of the cruise.

If wanting to fly in a day or 2 prior and stay in Cocoa Beach,,, then transportation would be on you.

If wanting to fly in early and stay in the Orlando area,,, then the day of the cruise you can make your way back to the airport and catch their shuttle.

Carnival Transfers are $35 per person each way.

The trip is 47 miles and takes approx. 45 minutes. A taxi would cost about $118 plus tip.

Cars can be rented at the Air port and dropped at the rental site in Cape Canaveral. One or two companies can arrange a shuttle but you need to work that with the office in Cape Canaveral where you would drop off the car, and presumably rent it again to drive back to the airport. Prices vary.

Yes, just booked for our Christmas cruise, it is $35 per person each way. We are flying in the day before and will stay at an airport hotel, take the shuttle back from the hotel on cruise morning and catch carnival shuttle. After the cruise we will take the Carnival shuttle back to the airport and jump on Disney's shuttle to our hotel for part 2 of our Christmas/New Year trip .

We found this a better option for us convenience and cost wise, doing a one way hire the rental prices goes up considerably, Thrifty added $50 on to the cost! Basically door to door not having to deal with car returns/pick up and getting shuttle to rental company.
