mistyann Posted March 27, 2014 #26 Share Posted March 27, 2014 Ditto! Ditto, also :D We leave in 3 weeks on the Royal and really want to know if it controls the A/C, my DH is always hot, so this could be a problem if we don't know! Anyone that's been on the Royal know for sure? :o
kywildcatfanone Posted March 27, 2014 #27 Share Posted March 27, 2014 I would be pretty furious if I couldn't keep my air on, I can't coming in to a hot room. So, if you take any credit card size card, like a gift card, and leave it in the inside slot, it keeps the lights/air on?
slc22 Posted March 27, 2014 #28 Share Posted March 27, 2014 (edited) Hi, we stayed at a hotel one night pre-cruise, and brought one of the hotel key cards with us on the Royal Princess. We used the hotel room card in our stateroom in the wall slot. No problem, and then the cabin was always nice and cool when we returned. caribill Posted March 28, 2014 #29 Share Posted March 28, 2014 Others have posted on another thread that this this for lights only. A/C and electrical outlets continued to function without a card in the slot.
