Prepaid gratitude?

Hi everyone. I am going on my first cruise in August; carnival liberty. I paid for the prepaid gratitude without even realizing this. Does this mean that I won't have to tip during my cruise? Will my steward know this?

Thanks for your help!

Prepaid gratuities cover your room stewards, all dining venue (dining rooms and buffet) waiters and a few behind the scenes crew.

Not included-

15% grats are added to any bar purchase.

Room Service is tipped out a few $

Spa services

Kid's club counselors

Casino dealers

If tips are not prepaid they will be on your final bill, but you will just have bar bill, tours, etc., what you buy on the ship, on your final bill. As was said 15% is automatically added to all bar bills including soda.

If you feel you got great service from your room steward, dining room waiter or a favorite bar waiter you can tip, cash, directly to them at the very end of the cruise.
