AJI2596 Posted April 4, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2014 We have 2 rooms next to each other but not adjoining. When the baby naps, no balcony, I would like to be able to talk or watch TV and not wake her. Will a video monitor work from home from the room next door? Has anyone ever tried this? Thanks. hacejm Posted April 4, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 4, 2014 This past summer we were on the Carnival Glory. Our kids were in an inside across from our balcony room with the nanny. The nanny would sit in our room while the kids napped and would watch them on the monitor. It worked for us. One piece of advice- bring a power strip since you might need extra plugs (we did- we have twins). Have fun!

Neonsport Posted June 9, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2014 We brought ours on the Sapphire Princess in January. We tested to see how far it would go and we counted 17 cabins down the hallway before it started to break up.
