Suite Questions

Hi! My wife and I are booked for the first time in a Suite (S1). We've been in a Concierge Cabin on prior cruises. I read that Bu is good for breakfast...is there a menu anyone can post? Also, what other perks do we get that are worthwhile or rarely known? What perks can we share with our adult children in a non-suite cabin? Thank you!

We stay in S1s quite often. Love them!! There aren't any "little known" perks. You get a butler and some afternoon teatime comes which you may or may not want. You'll get a reserved section in the theatre on formal nights up in the balcony center. (but your kids won't).

You can eat in Blu but your kids can't, not unless they're in a suite or Aqua Class.

You'll get a night of free specialty dining (or two on longer cruises).

Enjoy it, you'll have a great time!!!

You should check the web site for the perks especially the section on the new suite benefits that are rolled on the ships in the next year or so.

Since you mentioned about Blu, it is open for Breakfast and Dinner, not lunch. You should not have a problem eating there for breakfast however dinner is on a space available basis. Usually its not a problem, your butler can arrange it. Also, as Claudia said unless your children are in an AQ cabins or a suite, they cannot eat with you in Blu for Breakfast or Dinner.

I have read the comment bout the butler arranging for a suite guest to dine in Blu. I do not believe that they take reservation in Blu for anyone so what did the butler do for you? When we were in a suite we had select dining and just went to the Blu whenever we wanted to dine in Blu. They did tell us to dine before 6:30 or after 7:30 when we asked initially.

Thanks.

Blu does not do reservations but Butler can find out the best time and whether there will be room for suite guests.

They just must not have liked your kids. We had friends traveling with us, that were not in a suite, and our butler escorted us all to our reserved theatre seats on each formal evening. Perhaps it depends on the ship and butler...

Same for us. Our butler invited our friends that were not traveling on a suite, to join us on the reserved area. We didn't expect this and were willing to seat somewhere else, but he insisted. ;)
