funcky Posted April 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2014 If we get up around 9am, probably will not get off ship at least until 10am. Any recommendations for this time frame considering we'll be back about 2pm. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
overthehillcruiser Posted April 7, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2014 Quite a bit can be done in that time frame as the beach clubs, shopping, etc, are all fairly close. Depends what you interests are ?
JohninDC Posted April 7, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2014 Short (5 min/$10) cab ride to the Money Bar; good food, drinks & service - plus great snorkeling from the shore. No real beach, but there is a sandy area for sunning and relaxing. Taxi back at 2:00 and watch the pier runners try to make it back in time. c-leg5 Posted April 7, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2014 Quite a bit can be done in that time frame as the beach clubs, shopping, etc, are all fairly close. Depends what you interests are ? Also depends which pier you dock at. Also consider if ship time is same as local time. If you are docked at Punta Langosta you can just get off ship and walk around old town, shopping and have lunch or drink, call in museum, or short taxi to chocolate factory. Taxis readily available at all piers. As PP said it depends what your interests are. Short (5 min/$10) cab ride to the Money Bar; good food, drinks & service - plus great snorkeling from the shore. No real beach, but there is a sandy area for sunning and relaxing. Taxi back at 2:00 and watch the pier runners try to make it back in time. This is what we did on our last visit. Wendy,Williams Posted April 9, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2014 We love walking around town, sopping and grabbing a drink or two at the bars by the port. We have done two excursions here and loved them both. Most recently have done the tequila experience. Definitely a great one for learning. We have also done the Mexican cooking class twice. It is awesome! Plus unlimited drinks from the bar on this one. Chef Oscar is great! Both of these excursions should be able to be done in this time frame. And both are a lot of fun!
